On August 27, 2024, United University, Prayagraj, hosted a Honey Bee Awareness and Training Program. Organized by the Department of Agriculture & Allied Science, the event educated participants on honey bees' crucial ecological role and provided hands-on beekeeping training. Guest speaker Mr. Krishna Mohan Singh emphasized honey bees' importance in agriculture and ecological balance. The program included a presentation on the decline in bee populations and its consequences, practical beekeeping training, a student skit on bee awareness, and a Q&A session. Participants gained essential skills in sustainable beekeeping, aiming to protect honey bees and boost livelihoods.
