Cyber ??????? Workshop Recap! ??
On August 24, 2024, the CSE/CA Department at United University, in collaboration with the Prerogative Pointers Student Chapter and Digital Yoddha Foundation, hosted an eye-opening Cyber Security Workshop. This event aimed to equip participants with crucial knowledge and tools to safeguard both personal and organizational data in today’s digital age.
The workshop kicked off with the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, symbolizing the dispelling of ignorance and the pursuit of knowledge. Our respected Dean, Dr. Chetan Vyas, delivered an inspiring speech, underscoring the critical importance of cyber security in our increasingly digital world.
We were honored to have Mr. Jay Prakash Singh, an officer at the Cyber Security Crime Police Station in Prayagraj, who shed light on the alarming rise of cyber crimes like network marketing scams and ATM card fraud. His insights were a wake-up call for everyone to take cyber security seriously.
Mr. Divyanshu Gupta, a seasoned security analyst with over two years of experience, captivated the audience with his expertise in network defense strategies. His session provided practical tips on identifying vulnerabilities and fortifying defenses against potential cyber threats.
The workshop concluded on a high note with an interactive quiz session, leaving attendees with valuable insights and a renewed sense of vigilance.
